Artist Bio
Michael uses animation to bring stories to life with a mix of traditional tools and computer software. He is experienced in traditional frame by frame traditional animation, 2D puppet animation and 3D modeling and animation. The Artist enjoys going to film festivals where he frequently submits his short films for selection. He describes his films as positive and eco-friendly. By using his knowledge of color theory and design principles he creates uplifting films full of vibrant hues. Michael creates original characters from stories he creates. He has worked in groups to create finished animated films utilizing feedback from peers to perfect his craft.
Stories told from paper to pixels
Michael's original art and animated films begin with a pencil and paper either as rough sketches or as written stories. The finished product comes to life after countless hours of perfecting each frame until a finished composited animated film is produced.
